Ultimately, people matter

We sometimes over-emphaise technology over people. Sure, it's an engineering marvel to build a large scale music streaming app. But the only reason it matters is because music matters to people.

If there is no person on the receiving end of any technological advancement, it won't even be classified as a technological advancement. Which is why it'd be great to sometimes stare away from computers and look toward the people that we're impacting. It can give more meaning to the work that we're doing.
