The price of ability

"Be so good that companies compete to hire you," said the principal during our undergraduate orientation. Unfortunately, that's a very average result.

If you lack skills, you don't get hired. However, if you're employable everywhere, then you probably have "the most agreeable skills." Skills that almost all companies can understand: the average.

But when your skills are superior, not everyone can understand or even use them. Instead of being hirable everywhere, your options dwindle too because not all companies can use your talent. That's the price of ability.
